Before the season was suspended, the Red Devils had got their top four aspirations back on track in the Premier League while they were on the brink of advancing to the Europa League last eight.
While the Red Devils did manage to get two new signings in the January transfer window, there are players that Solskjaer needs to get rid of ahead of next season.
English publication Manchester Evening News report that Solskjaer could look to part ways with Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira, Chris Smalling, and Alexis Sanchez before the 2019/2020 season.
Smalling and Sanchez are currently out on loan at AS Roma and Inter Milan respectively, with the former reportedly keen on making the move a permanent one.
Jones, Lingard and Pereira have found game time hard to come by this season and could now see their time at Old Trafford come to an end in the next transfer window.
