United have won all their pre-season games so far, and will face AC Milan in their final test ahead their Premier League opener against Chelsea next Saturday.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said after United's latest win, a 1-0 victory over Kristiansund – during which his son Noah featured for the opposition – that he is still hoping for "one or two" additions to the squad before the English window closes on 8 August.
Premier League sides can still sign players in the coming six days, while departures can still occur until the other European leagues' windows close on 2 September.
According to the latest reports, United will have a busy few days ahead of them, with Dybala, Fernandes and Maguire all still linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Dybala is believed to be close to a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku, while Maguire is said to Solskjaer's main priority. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reports that his transfer seems to be the closest after Eric Bailly was ruled out for four to five months after undergoing knee surgery.
How would the potential new signings fit into the coach's plans, though?
In goal, David de Gea remains the uncontested No. 1, and he could even become Antonio Valencia's official successor as United captain. At the back, new right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka could play next to Maguire and Victor Lindelof, while Luke Shaw seems destined to start on the left.
The central midfield could consist of Nemanja Matic, Fernandes and Pogba, with the front three potentially being Dybala, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
At this stage, though, it seems unlikely United will be able to conclude all three deals, and it remains to be seen which new arrivals the club can still announce before the window closes.
