The English side might find it difficult to get some of their preferred targets in the transfer window after missing out on qualification for the 2019/20 edition of the UEFA Champions League.
With United's chase for Sancho having reportedly cooled – it is believed the player would prefer to stay at Dortmund – and Felix being chased by a host of Europe's top clubs, the Red Devils have seemingly pushed ahead in their pursuit of Championship winger Daniel James.
Sky Sports has now claimed that the 21-year-old has agreed personal terms with United, with only a few details left to be ironed out.
James, who scored five goals and assisted another 10 strikes for Swansea this season, will reportedly become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing at Old Trafford.
He was linked with a few Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, but will join the Manchester club for a reported fee of £15 million (R278 million).
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have also confirmed that captain Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera will leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of June.
