Manchester United reportedly want to snatch an African superstar from a direct Premier League rival in a sensational move worth £50 million.
The Red Devils are set to spend big in the coming transfer window, and have now been linked with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 30-year-old's contract at the Emirates Stadium is set to expire in June 2021, and it has been claimed he will not extend his deal.
According to The Sun, Arsenal officials have accepted that they will lose their current captain, but would prefer to cash in on him in the upcoming window instead of losing him on a free deal in 2021.

It is understood Arsenal want their current top goalscorer to commit his long-term future to the club, but Aubameyang has stalled on a deal because the Gunners cannot guarantee Champions League football.
As a consequence, the London club's bosses would be keen to sell him for a substantial amount rather than lose him on a free – a fate they suffered with Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere in recent seasons – and United are said to be ready to pay £50 million (R1 billion) for the African superstar.
Aubameyang, who shared last season's Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, is currently in second spot in 2019/20 so far with 17 goals, behind only Jamie Vardy, who has 19 strikes.
