Unai Emery Comments On PSG's Penalty Situation
Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery has commented on the club's situation on penalty takers, following the latest incident involving Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
PSG outclassed Dijon 8-0 on Wednesday evening, with Neymar bagging four goals in the night.
The big talking point on the night occurred when Cavani won PSG a penalty late in the game. The Uruguayan already had two goals and was one goal away from equaling Zlatan Ibrahimovic's all-time mark of 156 goals for PSG.
However, Neymar, who had already completed his hat-trick, took the ball and converted the spot kick much dissatisfaction of the home supporters who booed the Brazilian.
"In the locker room, it is not about individual statistics," Emery said, according to FourFourTwo.
"I don't have to say who the penalty takers are. We talk about it in the locker room, not on the outside.
"[Cavani] is one of the experienced players. All players are important. Each have their own personality and all are very involved in the locker room."
