With Edinson Cavani expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires, there has been an update on where the striker would like to go next.

The Uruguayan has just three months left on his contract in Paris, and has been linked with a number of top clubs across Europe in the last few months.
LaLiga outfit Atletico Madrid were reportedly close to securing the striker's services during the January transfer window, but the was unable to be complete.
The 33-year-old's mother has now revealed he will not be returning to Uruguay and is looking to remain in Europe next season, particularly in the Spanish top flight.
“Fortunately today, there are many clubs interested in signing Cavani. He still does not know where he will play, he has three months left in Paris," Berta Gomez, his mother, told Ovacion Digital.
“We have to think carefully. At the moment, he has no intention of returning to Uruguay, he is planning to continue in Europe and would like to go to Spain.”

Cavani is currently PSG's all-time record scorer with 200 goals in 301 appearances, 46 goals ahead of second-place Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
