Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos could be forced to make a tough decision on his career after a slow start to life in France.
Ramos has been limited to just five appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants all season due to his injury problems.
The injury troubles did carry over from last season where he only made 15 LaLiga appearances and missed out on the European Championship with Spain.
French publication Le Parisien have now claimed that the 35-year-old is no considering retiring from football due to the persistent calf complaint.
France's former team doctor Jean-Marcel Ferret says Ramos' calves have taken a lot of blows during his 19-year career.
"The injuries are very difficult because you can never predict how they will evolve, Ferret said, per Mirror.
"It's all about the configuration of the calf muscle.
"You have to consider how the muscle has aged given the blows Ramos has taken in his career while playing at the highest level for 19 seasons and how much that has weakened his calves."
