Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel has provided an update the situation involving Neymar, who is yet to feature for the Ligue 1 champions this season despite being fit.
The 26-year-old has recovered from the ankle injury that saw him miss the Copa America, but has not been included in the last two matchday squads.
With the European transfer window only closing on 2 September 2019, the Brazilian continues to be linked with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Tuchel has confirmed that Neymar will not play until the situation with the club is clear.
“He has trained well, has worked to recover from his discomfort and is physically fit to play, but the club has been clear. If the situation is not resolved, he won't play [against Toulouse].”
“The situation is disturbing because it does not help [preparations], and not because everyone knows that a player like Ney is in focus, everyone is used to this kind of situation. This is normal with the big players,”
