Edinson Cavani played a starring role as Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to register a 4-1 win over Reims in Ligue 1 on Wednesday night.
The visitors took a surprising lead after just two minutes thanks to a strike from Xavier Chavalerin.
Reim's joy was short-lived as Cavani restored parity for PSG in the fifth minute with an audacious chip over goalkeeper Emmanuel Mendy.
The home side were then awarded a penalty in the 23rd minute when Cavani was brought down in the box, allowing Neymar to step up and convert the spot-kick, 2-1.
It was 3-1 just before the halftime break as Mendy's poor clearance fell to Cavani, who made no mistake from close range to complete his brace.
PSG picked up from where they left off and bagged a fourth goal in the 55th minute as Moussa Diaby unselfishly teed up Thomas Meunier, who could not miss from point-blank range.
Diaby nearly registered his name on the score-sheet on his PSG debut, but goalkeeper Mendy produced a superb save to keep out the 19-year-old's strike.
Thomas Tuchel's men continued to push for more goals and Cavani had a chance to seal his hat-trick in the 90th minute, but his smashed the crossbar with only Mendy to beat as the encounter ended 4-1.
