Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain ended the season with a defeat after going down 3-1 at the hands of Reims on Friday evening.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel made three changes from their last league encounter, as Gianluigi Buffon, Marquinhos and Marco Verratti were drafted in.
Reims launched the first scare on 22 minutes, but Buffon thwarted the effort of Remi Oudin from a Mathieu Cafaro cross.
PSG were again on the back-foot a minute later when Moussa Doumbia’s shot clipped the top of the crossbar.
Pressure paid on the Parisans on 36 minutes when Rahman showed composure inside the area to blast through the legs of Buffon.
Cracks appeared wide and large in the visitors defence, as Tristan Dingome volleyed over in added time from a Cafaro corner.
PSG displayed more promise at the resumption, with Julian Draxler firing over the top from a through ball by Kylian Mbappe minutes in.
Reims increased their tally 10 minutes after the break when Cafaro opened space on the edge of the area to fire past Buffon.
The deficit was reduced three minutes later when Mbappe latched on to a flick on by Edison Cavani to tap home from two yards.
Tuchel then opted to re-shuffled the pack on 66 minutes, with Dani Alves installed as an offensive midfielder, while Les Rouge et Blanc pushed for more openings over eight minutes, as Pablo Chavarria filled in for Cafaro
The changes did little to open up the contest despite a 75th minute near-miss from Angel Di Maria’s near miss brushing the left post.
The hosts put the final in the coffin deep into added time when Chavarria rounded Buffon for a sliding finish to end their campaign in eight spot.
