Paris Saint-Germain sit 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 following their 1-0 win over Bordeaux at the Parc di Princes on Saturday night.
PSG were once again without the services of Neymar, although there was a welcome return to the starting line-up for Marco Verratti.
The Ligue 1 leaders dominated from the onset, but they were let down by their decision-making as their opening chance arrived on 222 minutes, with Edinson Cavani heading wide from close range.
The visitors went close to opening the scoring after 30 minutes through Jimmy Briand, who sent his close-range effort over the crossbar after shady defending by PSG.
With three minutes remaining in the half, PSG were afforded the chance to open the scoring after being awarded a penalty, which Cavani managed slot home, 1-0.
The visitors came out firing in the second half and they were nearly rewarded on 55 minutes but Francois Kamano was unable to capitalise from close range.
Bordeaux threw numbers forward in search of an equaliser, but Thomas Tuchel's troops remained resolute at the back to cut any clear chances.
PSG should have extended their lead with 10 minutes remaining but Eric Choupo-Moting was unable steer his home from close range after some good work in the build-up.
Nevertheles, PSG were able to hold out until the final whistle to claim three points as they now switch focus to Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.
