Venue: Stade Pierre Mauroy
Paris Saint-Germain's title celebration were put on ice for another week after they suffered an embarrassing 5-1 defeat at the hands of second-place Lille on Sunday.
PSG needed a point to be confirmed as Ligue 1 champions, but they shot themselves in the foot after just seven minutes as Meunier scored into his own net trying to intercept Jonathan Ikone’s teasing cross, 1-0.
However, the Parisians levelled matters four minutes later as Juan Bernat slotted home a cross from Mbappe at the far post after making a clever run.
The visitors were dealt a blow in the 18th minutes as Thiago Silva was replaced by Thilo Kehrer due to inury while Meunier pulled his hamstring seven minutes later and was replaced by Moussa Diaby.
As if the two injury blows were not enough for PSG, they were reduced to ten men with ten minutes remaining of the first stanza as Bernat received a straight red card for a challenge on Nicolas Pepe.
Six minutes after the break, Nicolas Pepe restored the lead for Lille after weaving his way into the box before firing past Alphonse Areola with a low strike.
Jonathan Bamba got the third goal for the hosts in the 65th minute with a cracking left-footed strike that beat Areola at his near post, 3-1.
Lille were all over PSG and Gabriel made it 4-1 for the hosts wit 20 minutes remaining, after finding the back of the net with a well placed header inside the box following a free-kick.
The scoring did not stop there as former Southampton defender Jose Fonte bagged home the side's fifth on the night by nodding home a cross from Pepe to rub salt into the wounds of PSG, who will now have to wait another three days to secure the title against Nantes.
