Paris Saint-Germain starlet Kylian Mbappe has revealed which club he rejected before he joined the French giants in 2017.
The 19-year-old joined PSG on an initial loan deal from Monaco last year before the move was made permanent in July this year.
Mbappe was chased by many top clubs across Europe at the time, including FC Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The starlet has now confirmed that he also he rejected the chance to work with Arsene Wenger at Arsenal before making the switch to Paris.
"I have not seen many people in this world being viewed in such a unanimous way," he told France Football.
"When the entirety of Europe gets on its knees in front of him to celebrate him (Wenger), that certainly means something.
"A little while ago, before I signed for PSG, we were in contact in 2017. I chose a different direction, but he wasn't annoyed at me."
Mbappe has scored 35 goals and assisted a further 22 strikes in 59 games for PSG since his arrival at the Parc des Princes.
