After suffering their heaviest league defeat in 19 years, 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe hit out at his Paris Saint-Germain teammates, saying the Ligue 1 giants played like debutants and lacked personality.
After being reduced to 10 men following defender Juan Bernat's dismissal in the 36th minute, Les Parisiens suffered a humiliating 5-1 thumping by LOSC Lille after conceding four goals in the second half.
As a result, PSG missed the opportunity to be crowned Ligue 1 champions, and Mbappe, who had two goals disallowed in the first half, has since stated that the loss was unacceptable.
"It was a box-to-box game, some moments we were in control, some moments we were not," he told Canal+.
"We're going to be champions but we cannot lose like this. It's not normal.
"We lack personality, it's one of our flaws, we have to correct this. We played like debutants."
PSG will be crowned Ligue 1 champions should they secure victory in their next league encounter, against Nantes on Wednesday.
