After winning the big prize at the French Professional Footballers Association awards on Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe dropped a major hint about his future.
It has been a terrific season for Mbappe, whose goalscoring exploits saw him claim the Ligue 1 Player of the Season accoalde on Sunday night.
Speaking after being named the best player in France, the 20-year-old dropped a bombshell on PSG after admitting he is seeking a new challenge, whether it be at his current club or elsewhere.
"It's a very important moment for me, I come to a turning point in my career," he said at the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels awards, according to The Independent.
"I have discovered a lot here, and I feel it is maybe the moment to have more responsibility.
"I hope that can perhaps be at Paris Saint-Germain, that would be a great pleasure. Or maybe elsewhere with a new project."
With one Ligue 1 game left before the end of the season, Mbappe has scored 38 goals and assisted a further 17 strikes in 42 matches across all competitions for PSG so far in this campaign.
