10 Highest-Paid PSG Stars In 2018/19

Paris Saint-Germain have two of the most expensive players in world football, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, among their ranks, but where do those players feature on the French club’s best earners list for the 2018/19 season?

Click through the gallery above to see the 10 best earners at PSG this season, according to Total Sportek.

New boss Thomas Tuchel will have the difficult task of managing several egos at the French giants this season, and will undoubtedly try his utmost best to challenge for the UEFA Champions League trophy – a competition the club is yet to win.

PSG have not spent big on signings in this transfer window, but what sort of money will the French club’s board be paying in weekly salaries in the 2018/19 campaign?

Brazil superstar Neymar, who is now in his second season in France, is believed to be on €500 000 (R8.2 million) a week at the league champions in a contract that only expires in 2022, making him the best-paid player at the club.

Second in the reported salary rankings is new goalkeeper signing Gianluigi Buffon on €410 000 (R6.7 million), whose one-year deal in France does not include bonuses which allows for his weekly wages to be so lucrative.

FIFA World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe is next with his weekly wages of €300 000 (R4.9 million) at PSG, followed by former FC Barcelona right-back Dani Alves and ex-Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria on €230 000 (R3.8 million) a week.

Sixth on the list is Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani on €200 000 (R3.3 million) a week in France, which is also what Selecao centre-backs Thiago Silva, the team’s captain, and Marquinhos are earning at the club.

Barca Reveal New Captain

Italy international Marco Verratti follows the aforementioned South Americans with weekly wages of €150 000 (R2.4 million) at the Qatari-owned team, while Germany international Julian Draxler completes the top 10 with €100 000 (R1.6 million).
