French legend Zinedine Zidane, who announced his shock departure from Real Madrid on Thursday, has revealed what his best moment as Los Blancos boss was, and it might surprise many.
After Real called an expected press conference early on Thursday afternoon, manager Zidane announced he has decided to leave the club as manager.
The 45-year-old had two-and-a-half incredible seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he won nine trophies since taking over from Rafael Benítez in 2016.
Despite winning three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles, the Frenchman revealed that lifting the LaLiga trophy is his best memory from his time as Real boss.
"If there is one thing (that stands out) then it's having won LaLiga," he said, according to Marca.
"The truth is that, for me, winning LaLiga was the maximum."
Real then went on to reveal that his worst moment as Real boss was when Los Blancos got knocked out of the Copa del Rey to Leganes this past season.
