Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says he is 'disgusted' with the claims that Juventus were robbed in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
There was a lot controversy surrounding Los Blancos' penalty that secured their spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was one of the main players to criticise the referee, while some feel that Los Blancos are favoured in the Champions League.
“When people talk about robbery, it disgusts me,” Zidane was quoted as saying by Football Espana.
“What we’re doing bothers a lot of people. It’s a shame they talk about us stealing, it makes me angry. I’m very disappointed.
“It’s not about the penalty, which is the referee’s interpretation, but after what they say about robberies and other things, I can’t believe what’s been said.
“We deserved to go through no doubt and I’ll defend my own. It’s normal for people to give their opinions, but to say it’s a robbery...
“I’m disgusted when people say it was a robbery. There are ‘antimadridistas’ and we can’t change that.
“No-one’s going to change the history of this club, which is the best in the world. It’s normal they’re jealous."
