Former Barcelona star Yaya Toure says he is "always available" if the Catalan giants need him following their poor start to the season.
The Blaugrana's struggles continued with a 2-0 defeat to LaLiga champions Atletico Madrid just days after their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Benfica in the UEFA Champions League last week.
Ivory Coast legend Toure retired from professional football in 2019, but he revealed via social media that he is still available to help his former club during this tough time.
"It may be a difficult time for the club but my belief for Barcelona is strong," Toure wrote on Twitter.
"I will always be available for the club should they need me anytime as my heart is forever with the club, the people, and the fans.
"My time at Barcelona was one of the best memories of my playing career. The club decided to trust me when I was still a young player, yet to establish myself in the top leagues. I will forever be grateful to the club for what they have done for me."
Toure, who is now an assistant coach at FK Akhmat, made 118 appearances during his time with the Catalan outfit between 2007 and 2010.
