Arturo Vidal became FC Barcelona's latest signing on the weekend, and reportedly also became one of the club's top earners in the process. As such, here are the Blaugrana's highest-paid players.

The Chilean reportedly joined the Catalan giants from Bayern Munich for a fee of about £18 million (R310 million).

Vidal also became one of the club's highest-paid players after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract, which will reportedly see him earn £8 million (R138 million) a year after tax.

His annual salary roughly converts to £165 000 (R2.8 million) a week, the same amount Gerard Pique earns at the club, and only five Barcelona players pocket more than the duo does.

Sergio Busquets is in fifth position with weekly wages of £180 000 (R3.1 million), followed by Ousmane Dembele, who is on £220 000 (R3.8 million) a week.

Come to think of it SA supporters are ageist, the players we chanted for in the WC are over 30. Ronaldo, Messi, Madzukic, and Modric but when it comes to our beautiful football in the PSL we regard the likes of Tshaba, Teko, Yeye, Parker and etc as finished products. We murmur when Baxter consider them on BB but WHY? Ronaldo signed a billion deal at age 34

this dembele boy is going to be filthy rich if he keeps up his game already coining so much at 21, while bigger players are still fighting for salary improvements in the EPL
