Griezmann joined the Blaugrana after the LaLiga champions activated his €120 million (R1.88 billion) clause on Friday.
Even though Atletico are still contesting the transfer and insisting Barcelona should pay the full €200 million (R3.23 billion) – his release clause before 1 July – after they already approached him way before his price dropped.
Presiden Josep Maria Bartomeu, however, insisted that he has no concerns over the deal.
"I've spoken with (Atletico Madrid). There isn't proof of anything,” he said at the player’s unveiling.
"I understand that Atletico are defending their interests. I've spoken with (Atletico president Enrique) Cerezo. We'll see what happens but there really isn't anything to be said."
Griezmann, meanwhile, becomes the second-best earner at Camp Nou, with L’Equipe stating he will receive €17 million (R266 million) per year at his new club.
Only Messi pockets more at the Blaugrana, with his latest deal making him the best-paid player in football currently.
The Argentine is believed to be earning £500 000 (R8.7 million) per week, while Luis Suarez completes the podium with £290 000 (R5 million) – £4 000 (R70 000) less than what Griezmann’s deal calculates to in weekly wages.
