Result: Sevilla 2-2 FC Barcelona
Date: 31 March 2018
Venue: Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán
FC Barcelona maintained their unbeaten run in LaLiga after coming back from two goals down to draw 2-2 in the final minutes against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
After missing both of Argentina's international friendlies, Lionel Messi started on the bench as Ousmane Dembele and Coutinho joined Luis Suarez in attack for the Catalan giants.
It was Dembele and Coutinho who combined to set up Suarez in the ninth minute, but the Uruguayan sent his effort wide of the mark.
The hosts should have broken the deadlock on 21 minutes but Joaquin Correa somehow headed wide of the mark at the far post.
Sevilla were rewarded for a bright start when they took the lead on 36 minutes as Franco Vazquez turned home Correa's cross with a left-footed finish.
Barca should have restored parity just before the break but Pique fired wide at the back post after being picked out by Samuel Umtiti.
Five minutes into the second half, Sevilla doubled their lead as Muriel got on the scoresheet with a close-range finish after Vazquez's initial strike was saved.
Ernesto Valverde eventually introduced Messi just before the hour mark, replacing the in-effective Dembele.
The Catalan giants pushed for a goal and they were eventually rewarded in the 88th minute when Luis Suarez pulled one back with Coutinho getting the assist.
Messi then leveled matters less than two minutes later with a clinical finish into the bottom corner to seal a point and maintain their unbeaten run, leaving them one game away from matching the all-time LaLiga record.
