Ten-man FC Barcelona dropped two points after playing to a 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo in a LaLiga match at the Estadio de Balaídos on Tuesday night.
Despite the stalemate, Barca still top the league standings with 83 points, 12 points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona created the first chance on goal in the seventh minute when Denis Suarez worked his way into the box after beating two defenders, but his 14-yard shot shaved the wrong side of the post.
Three minutes later the action was at the other end of the field when Iago Aspas was played through on goal, but he was superbly denied in a one-on-one with the Barcelona keeper.
In the 25th minute, Barcelona went close again when Paulinho met a pin-point corner-kick, but his header struck the woodwork.
Barca continued to push forward and found the game’s opening goal 10 minutes later when Ousmane Dembele received the ball just inside the box and produced a clinical finish to beat the Celta Vigo keeper, 1-0.
The home team managed to hit back on the stroke of half-time when Jonny was played through on goal and he made no mistake with just the keeper to beat, 1-1.
Barcelona re-took the lead 15 minutes into the second half when Alcacer Paco met a precise cross into the box with a first-time finish from 14-yards out, 2-1.
The Catalan giants suffered a bit of a setback in the 71st minute when they were reduced to 10 men following a straight red card for Sergi Roberto after a dangerous tackle.
Celta Vigo threw players forward after that and found an equaliser for a second time in the 82nd minute when Iago Aspas turned home a low cross from the right, 2-2.
The home side pushed hard for a winner in the dying minutes of the match, but Barca managed to hold on for a draw.
