Spain Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced the return date for the 2019/2020 LaLiga season, after teams returned to training earlier this month.
Spain's top flight has been suspended since 10 March 2020 when Eibar took on Real Sociedad due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While Ligue 1 became the first of Europe's top five leagues to be cancelled, Bundesliga resumed last weekend behind closed doors and it now seems LaLiga will follow suit next month.
FC Barcelona currently leads the LaLiga standings, two points above fierce rivals Real Madrid after 27 matches played so far.
Spain's Prime Minister confirmed on Saturday that football in Spain will be allowed to resume as of 8 June 2020.
