The central defender netted 25 successive penalties for Real and Spain before seeing his two spot-kicks saved by Jan Sommer.
Despite Ramos' two misses on Saturday night, the Los Blancos will remain La Roja's first penalty taker in the future.
"Sergio Ramos' record with penalties is up there with the very best," Luis Enrique said after the game, as per Goal.
"It would be very unfair to take him off because he's missed one, two, three.
"If there were another penalty, he would've taken it...if he misses two, to take him off penalty duties would be a joke. There's a list of penalty takers and Sergio Ramos is at the top."
