Following the arrival of Belgian superstar Eden Hazard at Real Madrid, captain Sergio Ramos has given his take on the club's new big-money signing.
After a long-running transfer saga, the 28-year-old finally completed a €100 million (R1.66 billion) move from Chelsea to Los Blancos on Friday night.
While the winger is undoubtedly excited to start his new and exciting journey at the club he has seemingly always wanted to represent, Los Blancos captain Ramos has already given his take on Hazard’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Asked what he thinks about Real's new acquisition, Ramos did not skip a beat as he insisted Hazard joining the Spanish giants is good news.
"I think it's a great signing," he answered, according to Sportsmole.
"He is a world-class player. It is good to reinforce the squad."
Hazard left Chelsea after 352 appearances, during which he scored 110 goals and assisted a further 92 strikes.
