African legend Samuel Eto'o, who spent many of his best years playing for Spanish giants FC Barcelona, has jokingly claimed he will kill Xavi Hernandez if he does not manage the Catalan club one day.
After signing for the Blaugrana from Mallorca in 2004, the recently-retired Cameroonian linked up with some incredible players, including midfield maestro Xavi.
The pair played together for five years before Eto'o left for Inter Milan, but not before winning eight trophies alongside one another, including two UEFA Champions League titles.
Currently managing Al Sadd in Qatar, it is widely thought that Xavi will one day take over at Barca, something Eto'o is desperate to see.
"He is the f***ing boss in Qatar and in Spain," he said, according to Cadena SER.
"If he doesn't end up coaching Barca, I'll kill him!"
Xavi has won four of the six games he has managed so far, drawing one and losing the other.
