Rivaldo Urges Barca To Sign Salah
Rivaldo Urges FC Barcelona To Sign Liverpool's Mohamed Salah
Brazilian icon Rivaldo has urged his former club FC Barcelona to consider going after African superstar Mohamed Salah, who is also said to be a transfer target for Real Madrid.
The Liverpool winger has been in sublime form this season, during which he finished as the top scorer in the Premier League and helped guide the Reds to the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League final.
It has been said for a while that Los Blancos are interested in the 25-year-old's signature, but when Rivaldo was asked recently who the Blaugrana should sign from the English top flight, he named Salah.
"From the Premier League? Salah – he's a great player," he told Express Sport.
"He is a game-changer."
Salah joined Liverpool at the beginning of the season for about £37 million (R617 million), which is now considered by many to be a huge bargain.
The Egyptian has contributed to 60 goals in 51 games for the Merseyside club so far this season, and will be hoping to take his form into the UCL final against Real on Saturday night.
