According to Don Balon, the Catalan club is eyeing moves for PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano and Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek.
It is believed that Barca are concerned about the quality of Lionel Messi's support, and are hoping to add another reliable goalscorer to the squad.
It has been claimed that the Blaugrana see the abovementioned pair as their most realistic transfer targets for January as they do not expect to sign high-profile stars such as Neymar or Kylian Mbappe during the season.
Piatek has made a name for himself in his debut campaign for Genoa in Italy, having already scored 14 goals in 15 games so far.
Lozano, meanwhile, impressed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Mexico, and has been excellent for PSV since his arrival at the club last year.
