Reports: Real Madrid Want Manchester City Star

Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a move for one of Manchester City’s standout players this season, and it is not Kevin De Bruyne.

Messi Sets Unwanted LaLiga Record

Los Blancos have been linked with Belgian playmaker De Bruyne in recent months, but according to the Mirror, they have set their sights on another one of the English club’s stars.

Real are believed to be considering a move for 23-year-old winger Raheem Sterling, who is approaching the final two years of his contract at the Premier League leaders.

It has been reported that manager Zinedine Zidane is a big admirer of the ex-Liverpool man, as he has made massive improvements under Pep Guardiola this season.

The attacker has almost looked a different player this campaign, scoring 20 goals and assisting a further 16 strikes in 36 matches.

Sterling, who is said to be on wages of £180,000 (R2.93 million) per week, will reportedly demand a big pay rise at the Citizens' in the coming months, a reward he feels he is more than worthy of receiving.

I doubt the will be any player who would like to leave city for any team at the moment, players want to come to city, a team that improve players not destroy their career. Futures is looking bright at Etihad

I think it would be unwise for Sterling to leave high rolling ManC for struggling R Madrid. R Madrid is a shredder of young talent. First thing they do when they sign a young talent is slap a ridiculous release clause across his face then frustrate the player with no game time and loan him out before selling selling him off on a slave contract which may include things like buy-back clauses at basement prices. Sterling made a sterling move by leaving Liverpool for ManC and he should stay put for at least another 3 years

I don't usually praise City players but big up to Sterling... Few wingers can score 20 goals and assist 16 times in 36 games. He is one of a kind. I hope he will be wise enough not associate himself with Badnaboys RM
