Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly keeping a close eye on a Chelsea midfielder who has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 2017/18 UEFA Champions League winners, who announced Julen Lopetegui as Zinedine Zidane's successor on Tuesday, are looking to beef up their midfield and have a certain player in mind.
According to Diario AS, France international N'Golo Kante has emerged as one of Real's prime transfer targets for the upcoming season.
Los Blancos are apparently looking to take advantage of the current managerial uncertainty at Chelsea to lure the former Leicester City star to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Kante has been one of the Blues' most consistent performers over the past two seasons, during they which they won the Premier League and the FA Cup.
Several clubs, including PSG, are said to be monitoring the 27-year-old's situation, with the midfielder believed to be considering his future at Stamford Bridge.
Since moving to Chelsea, the Frenchman has made 89 appearances for the club, scoring three goals and assisting a further three strikes.
