It has been reported that Spanish giants Real Madrid have officially set a price tag for superstar Gareth Bale, who has been linked with Manchester United.
According to Telemadrid, Los Blancos are ready to cash in on the Welshman amid rumours he is looking to leave the club. Bale is currently in his sixth campaign with Real, but has often been criticised of not taking to the Spanish culture.
There seems to be a feeling among the fans that Bale has never truly been one of their own, especially as he has not learned to speak the language despite having lived in Madrid since 2013.
The report claims Los Blancos would be willing to sell the 29-year-old for £131 million (R2.4 billion), as they hope to still make profit from his sale.
While United have reportedly been interested in the winger, Chelsea are also said to be looking into the possibility of signing the former Tottenham Hotspur man.
Bale has played 219 games for Real, scoring 100 goals and assisting a further 63 strikes.
