It has been claimed that Netherlands wonderkid Matthijs de Ligt will only sign for FC Barcelona under two certain conditions, with Manchester United still chasing his services.
The 19-year-old Ajax Amsterdam captain has been targeted by a number of top European clubs ahead of the next season, with the Catalan giants and the Red Devils seemingly the favourites to secure his signature.
De Ligt appeared to be close to joining the Blaugrana at one point, but after United reportedly made a better offer, things seemingly changed.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Dutchman will only join the LaLiga giants if they are able to match or improve United's offer.
He wants the club to promise him that he will be a regular first-team starter next season.
It has also been claimed, however, that the Spanish champions are unwilling to re-enter into negotiations as they feel they can offer the teenager a better future.
De Ligt's agent, Mino Raiola, is reportedly still listening to offers from other clubs in order to get the most money possible for his talented client.
The centre-back has represented Ajax's first team on 117 occasions already, winning two trophies along the way.
