Reports: FC Barcelona To Get Rid Of €35m Flop
Spanish giants FC Barcelona are reportedly ready to offload a player considered to be one of the club's biggest flops in recent history.
According to Sport, the Catalan giants are preparing to sell Andre Gomes in the next transfer window as it has been decided he will move on.
It has been claimed that both the player and the club have come to an agreement that he will be shipped out at the end of the campaign following a tough two seasons at the Camp Nou.
Gomes has found it difficult to cope with the pressures that come with playing for a club such as Barca, and even admitted in an interview earlier this year that his time at the Spanish giants has been "a living hell".
The Blaugrana spent €35 million (R517 million) on the player in 2016, but are said to be disappointed with the majority of his performances since.
Clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly after the 24-year-old Portuguese international.
Gomes has contributed to just seven goals in 78 games for the Catalan giants.
