Spanish giants FC Barcelona are reportedly considering cashing in on one of their star midfielders after receiving some lucrative offers for him.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 2017/18 LaLiga champions are looking at the possibility of selling Brazil international Paulinho just one year after signing him.
The midfielder arrived at the Camp Nou for a fee of about £35 million (R635 million) from Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande, a move that surprised many at the time.
It has now been suggested that the midfielder's agent, Kia Joorabchian, has received a number of offers for his client, notably more than the amount Barcelona initially paid for him.
Seeing that the player is already 29 years old, the Catalan side is said to be playing with the idea of selling the Brazilian while he is in demand and in red-hot form.
The sale of Paulinho could fund the arrival of Chelsea's Willian, who has been heavily linked with the Spanish giants and Premier League outfit Manchester United.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star made 49 appearances for the Catalan club last season, scoring nine goals and assisting a further three strikes.
