A new report suggests that Spanish giants FC Barcelona could lose yet another star in this transfer window, with the player looking to get regular game time elsewhere.
According to RAC1, Netherlands goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen wants to leave the Blaugrana in the coming months in a bid to secure more playing minutes.
The 29-year-old joined the LaLiga side in 2016, and has spent the past two seasons as back-up to Germany international Marc-Andre ter Stegen, but is seemingly tired of being second choice.
Cillessen has already told close friends and family about his wish to leave, but has apparently made it clear he will not force his way out of the club, despite wanting to go.
The former Ajax Amsterdam star is believed to have a release clause of €60 million (R941 million), and is reportedly being monitored by Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Italian side Napoli.
Cillessen made 11 appearances for the Blaugrana in the 2017/18 campaign, keeping eight clean sheets along the way.
Should Barcelona allow the Netherlands No. 1 to leave, or should they try to keep him for one more season? Have your say in the comments section below.
