An FC Barcelona star has reportedly asked the club to let him leave the Camp Nou should any offers come in for him.
According to Spanish publication Sport, France international Lucas Digne is desperately looking for first-team football and knows he is unlikely to get much if he stays at the Blaugrana, with Jordi Alba the clear starter at left-back.
The French defender arrived in Spain from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain two seasons ago, but has struggled to break into the 2017/18 LaLiga champions' starting XI.
Barca paid in the region of €16 million (R252 million) for Digne, and apparently do not have the intention of losing money on him should they sell him in the coming weeks.
Should the defender end up leaving the Camp Nou, it has been suggested that Ernesto Valverde's side may need to think about buying another left-back as they will only have one in their senior squad.
Digne has made 46 appearances for Barcelona since joining the club in 2016, scoring two goals and assisting a further three strikes.
