It is believed an FC Barcelona first team star is irritated with the Catalan giants after they announced the signing of Brazilian starlet Malcom last week.
France international Ousmane Dembele struggled to cement a place in Barca's strongest XI in his first season at the Camp Nou, and with the club having signed Malcom, he is even more concerned about where he stands with manager Ernesto Valverde.
According to Sport, the Frenchman and his representatives have made his unhappiness with the Malcom acquisition known, as he plays in a similar position to the one Dembele features in.
The French youngster is said to be determined to continue at the LaLiga champions, but it has now been claimed he wants the club to show more confidence in him.
Despite rumours linking the 21-year-old with a move away from the club, the Blaugrana apparently want to give him a chance to redeem the start he has made to life in Spain.
Valverde is believed to think Dembele still has time to come good, and hopes he will prove his worth in the 2018/19 campaign.
The former Borussia Dortmund man scored four goals and assisted a further eight strikes in 23 matches in his debut campaign with the Spanish giants.
