Spanish giants FC Barcelona have reportedly rejected four offers for a star of theirs who is said to be desperate to leave the Catalan club in this transfer window.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana have turned down bids from Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Juventus and LaLiga opponents Valencia for Portugal international Andre Gomes.
The midfielder, who has struggled to settle in at the Camp Nou, has admitted he has "gone through hell" in recent months, and has struggled for regular game time at the club.
Last week, a reported emerged stating that Barcelona would consider offers of about €22 million (R361 million) for Gomes, for whom they paid Valencia €55 million (R878 million) two years ago.
There is no clear word on why the Blaugrana have not accepted any bids for the midfielder, but Diario Sport has suggested that the 2017/18 league champions would prefer to loan the player out rather than sell him.
On Thursday, The Sun reported that Arsenal manager Unai Emery would be willing to pay up to €30 million (R479 million) for the Portuguese star, but a formal bid is yet to come from the Gunners.
The 24-year-old has made only 78 appearances for Barca since July 2016, scoring three goals.
