With the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Lebo Mothiba and Nicolas Pepe among the most in-from African forwards in Europe's top five leagues, Spanish giants FC Barcelona are believed to be looking at one of them in particular.
Recent reports suggest that Barca are in the market for a forward as they are said to believe it is time to start looking for a potential long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
According to Sport, the Catalan club is interested in Ivory Coast and Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe, who has scored more goals than any other African player in Europe's most competitive leagues so far this season.
Pepe has struck eight times for in 13 matches for Lille this season, and has also assisted a further seven goals.
A host of clubs are believed to be looking at the 23-year-old, including Jose Mourinho's Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
It has been claimed that Pepe has been tracked by Barca scouts for some time now, but it remains to be seen whether or not the club makes an official bid for him in the coming months.
