News coming out of England suggest that a surprise Premier League club is closely monitoring two FC Barcelona players who are reportedly looking to leave the Camp Nou.
According to the Daily Mail, Merseyside club Everton have made enquiries for left-back Lucas Digne and Colombian superstar Yerry Mina.
The Toffees, now managed by Marco Silva, are believed to be looking for replacements for two of their ageing stalwarts, Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka.
With the 2017/18 LaLiga champions said to be keen on offloading a few stars in this window, Everton apparently feel they may have a good chance of landing the two out-of-favour defenders' signatures.
Mina expressed the difficulties he has had at the Catalan club since joining during a recent interview, while Digne has reportedly asked the Spanish side's board to listen to offers for him.
The Blaugrana have already parted ways with Andres Iniesta and Paulinho already during this off-season, but have signed Clement Lenglet from Sevilla and Arthur Melo from Gremio.
Everton will be hoping to push for a UEFA Europa League spot in the upcoming season, and will need a few quality signings to achieve that goal.
