Barca Confirm Interest In Dutch Defender
According to Sport, the Spanish giants are interested in luring Netherlands international Matthijs de Ligt to Spain.
The centre-back, who has been club captain of Ajax Amsterdam for two seasons already, is just 19 years old and considered one of the hottest prospects in world football.
The report claimed that Barca believes they have enough money to sign De Ligt, who is also reportedly wanted clubs such as Juventus and Manchester City.
Barca’s president Josep MariaBartomeu admitted in a recent interview that the club are monitoring the highly-rated starlet.
