Reports coming out of Spain claim that FC Barcelona have agreed a deal with one of Europe's sought-after strikers, who was also a target for Real Madrid.
Spanish radio outlet Cadena Copa revealed late on Friday night that the Catalan giants had agreed a deal with Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez.
The station claims a deal between the player and the club has been reach in principle, and Barcelona will now need to work out a deal with Inter Milan.
It is being reported that the LaLiga champions are unable to pay the full release clause €111 million and could now offer a few players in exchange.
The report added that Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti and Arturo Vidal are the players that could be included in the deal on loan.
Martinez can be seen as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez and has already showed he can gel with Lionel Messi with the Argentine national side.
The Argentine has played a key role in Inter's Serie A title challenge this season, with 16 goals and four assists across all competitions.
