Reports: £200m Bid Will Not Be Enough For Real Madrid Target
Reports in England are suggesting that Real Madrid will need to bid more than £200 million (R3.46 billion), if they are to sign one of their desired targets next season.
According to English publication Daily Mail, Los Blancos will need fork out a ridiculous fee to sign PFA Player of the Year Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.
The Merseyside club has apparently started negotiations over a new contract with the Egyptian’s agent, Ramy Abbas.
The 25-year-old still has four years left on his current deal and is believed to be earning around £90 000 (R1.5 million) a week - a fee, which is expected to rise in the coming months.
Los Blancos have reportedly been tracking Salah's performances for months now and their admiration has apparently only grown since his brilliant display against Roma on Tuesday night.
The Anfield outfit are said to be determined to keep their Egyptian superstar and reports suggest that they will reject any offer that comes in for him no matter the fee.
Salah has made 47 appearances for the Reds this season, scoring 43 goals and assisting in a further 15 more strikes.
