According to AS, the LaLiga champions’ pursuit of the Frenchman could be coming to a head, with the forward’s contract in France running out next year.
The publication reports that Real will either move for Mbappe once his contract expires in 2022, or they will attempt to lure him to the Spanish capital at the end of this season, which might require a big some of money.
In order to raise funds for his signature, Los Blancos are willing to offload a number of players, including some of which are currently away on loan.
It is claimed that president Florentino Perez is confident Mbappe will want to join the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners amid their long held interest in the 22-year-old, who has not yet given any indication as to whether he will sign a new contract in Paris.
Gareth Bale, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur is said to be among the list of players who could be shipped out permanently, along with Dani Ceballos, who is currently in his second season on loan at Arsenal.
Out-of-favour Isco could also command a decent transfer fee that would help Real in their efforts to lure Mbappe, as could club icon Marcelo, who has seen his role in the side drastically reduced this season.

Brahim Diaz, who is on loan at AC Milan, might also be let go on a permanent move, along with Serbian international Luka Jovic, whose time in Spain has been riddled with injuries.
