LaLiga champions Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing a Ligue 1 star who has been dubbed the "new Karim Benzema".
French forward Amine Gouiri has enjoyed a fairly decent campaign with OGC Nice after registering 12 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
The striker's performances has earned him the tag of the 'New Karim Benzema' and is seen as the heir to Benzema's throne for Los Blancos and the French national side.
Spanish outlet Defensa Central claim the newly crowned LaLiga champions are now keeping tabs on the 22-year-old after missing out on Erling Haaland who will join Manchester City next season.
Much like Benzema, Gouiri came through the Olympique Lyon youth academy and he enjoys having the freedom of the attacking third.
"I like cutting in from the right, cutting in, drawing a man towards me, looking for the one-two and shooting a curler towards the opposite post. That's what I enjoy!" he said beIN SPORTS.
"I've had success with that sort of shot but I need to keep working to make sure it goes in every time!"
