'Real Madrid Will Make A Bid For African Star'
Spanish giants Real Madrid will put a bid in for a certain African superstar next season, according to Egypt Football Association vice-president Hany Abo Rida.
The 64-year-old has claimed that Los Blancos are keeping a close eye on Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, and suggested that the Merseyside club could face a hard time in keeping hold of one of their star players.
Salah has been in sensational form for the Reds so far this season, and Abo Rida feels the player will look to improve himself going forward.
"Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer," the Egypt FA vice-president said on Egyptian television, as quoted by The Sun.
"Salah is now looking to improve his game. Obviously, if an Egyptian plays for a club as popular around the world as Real Madrid, it's going to be great for Egyptian football."
Earlier this season, Salah's national team coach Hector Cuper also hinted that Real could make a move for the 25-year-old.
"I've received news revealing Real's interest, but let's not rush things," Cuper said.
The Reds attacker has made 30 appearances for Liverpool so far this season, scoring 24 and assisting nine further strikes.
