Zidane's return to the club has been an underwhelming one thus far, although he did take over when it was already clear the team had nothing left to play for this season.
The Frenchman is reportedly looking to shake things up at the Santiago Bernabeu ahead of the next campaign, with his club being linked with a host of superstars from across Europe.
Regarding France sensation Mbappe, contrasting reports continue to circulate. The 20-year-old openly admitted this past Sunday that he may be seeking a new project away from Paris Saint-Germain, although his club was quick to rubbish rumours he could leave.
Days later, it was reported that the young star was unhappy with manager Thomas Tuchel, whom he felt has not given him the best chance to win the European Golden Shoe. According to the Daily Mail, Real are now awaiting a decision from Mbappe, to see whether or not a move for him at this point in time is worth it.
In Pogba's case, Zidane is said to remain intent on signing the Manchester United midfielder, but striking a deal with the Red Devils will not be easy. The player is reportedly open to a move to Los Blancos, but the 26-year-old has not officially asked to leave his club.
Chelsea winger Eden Hazard is still very much expected to make the big move over to Spain, with Thibaut Courtois reportedly already telling his teammates what they can expect from his Belgium colleague.
Hazard has himself admitted that a move to the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners could be on the cards, but does his potential arrival mean someone at Los Blancos has to leave?
Amid constant rumours surrounding his future, playmaker Marco Asensio, who did not enjoy a good 2018/19 campaign, has hinted that he will not be going anywhere. According to his agent Horacio Gaggioli, Real rejected huge offers for the player last year.
