Real Madrid star striker Karim Benzema's house was broken into during his side's 2-2 draw with Elche on Sunday evening.
The week did not end on a good note for the Frenchman as he had to come off injured in the 58th minute after he had missed a first-half penalty for his side against Elche.
To add insult to injury, the striker went home to find that his property had once again had been broken into, according to Spanish media outlet 20 minutos.
As per the report, thieves broke into Benzema's luxury home complex in San Sebastian de los Reyes through the garden when the house was empty.
The France international has previously been a victim of a home burglary. Then, like now, it happened when he was unable to do anything about the situation.
The first time this transpired was in February 2019, while Benzema and his teammates were in action against Barcelona.
Details of the items taken by the burglars in the latest incident remain unknown, as are the identities of the thieves.
