A Real Madrid player, who joined Los Blancos while Zinedine Zidane was in charge, has admitted he felt some resentment towards the French manager last season.
Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos did not feature all that much under Zidane at Los Blancos, despite being signed when the French boss was at the helm of the club.
The 22-year-old played just 22 times in the previous campaign, with most of his appearances coming from the bench or in less important matches.
Ceballos has now revealed he was frustrated under Zidane, who seemingly refused to pick him even when other midfielders were injured.
"During the regular season, I felt frustration and resentment towards Zidane," he told Radio Marca.
"There was a moment in the season when both Kroos and Modric were injured but he opted to change the style of play to bring in others players instead.
"It burns you a little and hurts you. We were 15 points behind Barca and only had the Champions League to look forward to but I also did not enter those dynamics."
Ceballos has already featured three times this season under new boss Julen Lopetegui.
